This is Part I of II video for this title
All too often we make decisions with the best intent in mind. We create practices, policies, and procedures (PPPs). We write them up, send them out, train on them, reward and punish for the use. To our sadness, after an employee uprising these PPPs seem to contradict your intent, values, or mission.
This is called misalignment and is a very common problem. What your organization desires is alignment between its PPPs, its underlying assumptions (culture) and your staff perceptions of the PPPs (climate). These three together influence your organization’s effectiveness.
This learning module will build the tool belt of organizational leaders. Specifically, we will explore this concept of misalignment and alignment using the PPPs of the Pyramid Plus Model implementation method. We will review examples of existing PPPs from other programs that have supported Pyramid Plus Model implementation.
We will learn how to assess and analysis your current PPPs and determine their alignment with Pyramid Plus Model implementation method. This understanding will help with the organization’s implementation and sustainability of the Pyramid Plus Model. Again, it will also become a new skill that will aid your organization in creating alignment for all of its practices, policies, and procedures.
